Now that I have shared the before pictures, we shall start with the project. First we completely emptied the room, laid down plastic to protect the floor. Everything came off the walls. There was the removal of the wallpaper border, patching of holes. This we did over a weekend, and then I painted. The color we chose is Behr Sonic Silver, this time I had a piece of bedding to take with me, and we pulled the color from that.

The "new furniture" before I worked on them.
We also gave the outlets a new look, and the non-working intercom...didn't want the hassle of drywall right now, so I just gave it a fresh look.
Having a busy house, I am again only able to work on it a little at a time. My husband is helping with the bed frame. I went to the Habitat for Humanity Re-Use Store, and picked up this 5 Panel antique door, we then had to trim it down for a double bed, it will be the headboard. I stripped the old paint off, being somewhat concerned it might be lead paint. Now it is ready for a light sanding and new paint. The color pallet my daughter chose was grey, black and white., the accent color we decided on for that pop will be red.
